Paru's Challenge - New

Hey Friends,

Today, I am playing along with my friend's blog challenge - Paru's cardmaking challenges. Paru has started this monthly challenge and I am so excited to take part in it. This month's key word is NEW. For that I am using my new Stampingbella stamp. I just love those stamps. So much fun to colour.

I stamped image on Neenah CS with memento black ink and coloured it with copics. For the backdrop of sentiment - I used sumburst stencil to add pattern on paper, stamp the sentiment and hand cut that comic style speech bubble. Learning copic coloring is one of my resolution for this year, let's see how far I can go...:)

Coffee love

Hey friends,

I am here for a quick share. This is DT post for Jane's Doodles. I have used Coffee time set from her latest release.

I have used coffee beans stamp to make that background. Used copics to colour the mugs.
Sentiment is heat embossed in white. Added some enamel dots to finish it off.
That's all for today. See you soon!

New stamps

Hello friends,

Few days back, I received this  stamp set called lotus delight by peek-a-boo designs (crafter's tale). I was excited as these stamps are made in India. I played around for few days and today I am sharing my experience with you all.

The stamp set is 4x6 inches. There are total 8 stamps, 6 flowers ( 3 solid, 3 outlines) and 2 sentiments. The material of stamps is really good. Solid and outline both stamps give crisp  detail as well as even coverage. I love how perfectly the outline and solid stamps align with each other. I wish sentiment were little bigger.

So without further ado, let's see the cards.

For this card, I have used mama elephant pigment inks. I made few masks from copy paper. I stamped outline & solid stamps using masks in top left corner of the A2 size card. White embossed sentiment on black. I also added one embossed and fussy cut flower from velum under the sentiment. As you can see the solid stamp coverage is excellent & thin lines between petals are crisp. Love it.

For above card, I used a new technique (new to me). I stamped three solid stamps with Altenew inks. I used copic markers a shade darker than inks for adding shadows on the stamped flowers. These inks and copic blend beautifully. Fussy cut flowers were arranged in a cluster along with some stamped and die cut branches. Added sentiment and Pretty Pink Posh clear sequins to finish it off.

I have used Pretty Pink Posh - story book 1 die to cut some panels from water colour card-stock. I stamped and embossed panels with liquid platinum powder. Coloured whole panel with Ken Oliver colour bursts. I just love the vibrant colours against kraft CS.

Here I stamped all outline stamps with versafine black ink. The co-coordinating solid stamps are inked with two shades of altenew inks to give that ombre look. I hope you can see the colour gradient. Aligning outline & solid stamps was very easy and it fits superbly.

This is my favourite one. No, it is not fussy cut pattern paper. I inked large solid flower with pigment ink and kissed it with hero arts background stamp. This will lift the ink and transfer BG pattern on flower stamp. Now, stamp the tag with it & add outlined stamp in black. This method works better with pigment inks.

All in all, very impressive quality. I would love to see more indigenous and conceptually mature designs from them. Wishing you all the best Vidushi & team. And thanks a lot for giving me
this opportunity.
Hugs.

Jane's doodle stamps release!

Hello crafty friends,

Today, we are having New stamp release blog hop at Jane's Doodle. She is releasing two new stamps sets. Have a look.

            1. Coffee Time

Coffee Time

If you are a coffee lover just like me, this is must have. I love that it has many images related to coffee. Clean lines, fun to colour and fussy cut and cool sentiments.

2. Love Bird

Love Birds

This set has some cute birds and great for valentine. That solid heart border is perfect for building background!

For the above card, I stamped all the images with versamark black on a panel. I coloured them with peerless colours. Sentiment is embossed in white and I added a string and wood veneer hearts  to finish it off.

For this card, I stamped images with memento ink and coloured it with copic. I converted that tiny heart stamp in to balloons by adding some hand drawn  knots and strings.
I also wrapped some golden string near the base of the panel to give backdrop for sentiment.

Check out what other DT have created! And don't forget to comment because if you are a winner you get two sets of your choice. And Jane is offering 15% off all sets during weekends.

So, hop on.....

Neha (That's Me!)

Hope you will like my cards and get inspired to try these sets...:)

Have an awesome cafty time. See ya!

Love you More

Hey friends,

I am stopping by to share a card I made for caseploration challenge by STAPlorations. The inspiration image is by Laura Bassen so I had to play. I love her designs, and videos and rainbows and everything in-between. Here is the inspiration image

She has used stencil and embosing paste with reinkers to get that ombre, raised effect. I was inspired by the 3D look, ombre & bold sentiment.

Here is my card:

I coloured water colour panel with peerless water colours in various pinks and reds to get that ombre look. I die cut several hearts with dies and mount them with foam tape for 3D effect. The sentiment is by Reverse Confetti. Also added that loose thread behind sentiment.

Close - ups.

Jane's Doodles

Hi Friends,

Today, I made two cards for my DT post @ Jane's Doodles. I have used Rain or Shine set for both the cards. I was experimenting with that cute rainbow stamp to use it to build my background and got 2 ideas and could't stop myself...:)

For above card, I stamp-embossed - masked-stamp-embossed- masked....till i reach the top. Used 3 different distress inks for ink blending.

For this one, it is masking and stamping with versa mark and fussy cut umbrella. Easy peasy !

We are having blog hop this 16th that means a chance to win 2 stamps sets of your choice so stay tuned.

Jane's Doodles- Butterflies

Hi friends,

Today I am sharing a card I made for Jane's DT post and also dome home decore which I made using her stamps.

First is today's DT card. I have used her Butterflies  set which is also available HERE in india. It has multiple butterfly images and some awesome sentiments. Outline images are excellent for coloring. Here I have filled it with some doodling. Some new experiment right? Love it...:) It was inspired by very talented artist Sandy Allnock's video HERE.

I stamped the butterflies on water color paper with archival ink, added doodles, masked and added Ken oliver colour burst.

Some close up :

Other things are magnets and a frame

These are 1.5x2.5 fridge magnets made on chipboard. I used gesso and acrylic colours for this. Sorry about poor picture but they were very vibrant in person.

Next is a water color art.

Here I have used umbrella from Rain or Shine set along with lilinker sentiment. I coloured it with Peerless water colors.

Thanks for stopping by. See you soon.
